Sponsor Chris & Jake

Some of the best memories I have from growing up are the times I spent with my cousin Michael. Building super long Scalextric tracks, making Action Man zip-wires, constructing DIY bow and arrows and watching Arnold Schwarzenegger movies are amongst the best.
Michael was also one of the biggest influences behind many of the hobbies and interests I've enjoyed as an adult, including making cars go faster, playing computer games and still watching those Arnold Schwarzenegger movies!
It was heartbreaking to hear that Michael was diagnosed with cancer back in April, but devastating when he lost his battle within a month. It was inspiring to hear he maintained his usual up-beat attitude throughout and received fantastic support from the charity to keep him comfortable during his illness.
To this day he continues to inspire me, giving me the motivation to actually do those things you hope to do "one day". His trip to America and parachute jump are two things he ticked off his list years ago, that have now been given greater priority on mine.
Even during his illness he was planning another sky dive to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice when he recovered, so when Becky arranged this sponsored walk for St. Luke's in memory of Michael I jumped at the chance.
Both me and Jake the dog will be participating in the 12 mile walk around Rother Valley Country Park. Any donations to either one of us would be greatly appreciated.
