Story
Yey another £200 was pledged if I managed over a year of veganism and not only have I succeeded, Farah & Raj have done it too. So thank you for the extra boost. Since we embarked on our personal challenge the movement to veganism and healthier eating contributing to saving animals and the planet has expanded swiftly. It is our sincere hope that governments around the world will finally act as swiftly to bring about an end to the conflict in Yemen and save the lives of the people and children there too.
Very many thanks to all our sponsors. Chrissie the Vegan 😊
Take the challenge try a month as a vegan visit veganuary.com
Chrissie, Didem, Farah, Anne, Alys, Raj & Alison's JH Team challenge as non Vegans is to go Vegan for 31 days, to raise awareness re alternatives to consuming animals and the plight of creatures reared for our various uses. BUT we are also doing it to highlight, support and raise sponsorship for the WORLDS LARGEST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS currently occurring in the YEMEN. The UN estimates that 18.8 million people out of a population of 27 million are urgently in need of aid. 19.4 million people have no access to safe drinking water or sanitation. 3.3 million children, pregnant & breast feeding women are acutely malnourished. Of those 462,000 children under five face severe acute malnutrition. The picture above says it all.
Please sponsor us to make a difference, we are able to choose not to eat animal products for a month the people of the Yemen don't have that choice.
