Welcome to our London marathon team page!

Story

Having seen the wonderful facilities at Acorns in Worcester and heard about the services they offer to children with life-limiting illnesses, their parents, siblings and grandparents, I want to do my bit to help towards the huge sums they need to raise to keep going every year.

I started running 5 years ago and I have run half marathons (13.1 miles) but that has felt like a VERY LONG WAY. I was lucky enough to get a ballot place for the 2019 London Marathon - lucky in the eyes of other runners anyway, I know it's not everyone's idea of good luck!

26.2 miles is twice as far as I've ever run, so I'd really appreciate any sponsorship you can give to support Acorns and to help motivate me to put in all of the hours of training and to get me round the 26.2 miles on Sunday 28th April.
