Story
Mum sadly died of Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) on the 18th August 2018. CUP means it was not possible to diagnose where the cancer originated and so treatment could not be tailored to Mum's specific needs.
Her last wish was to spend her final few days with her family in her home and Severn Hospice made this possible, for which Mum and her family are eternally grateful.
Ozlem and Andy will be running the Shrewsbury half marathon on the 6th October, both in memory of Mum and to raise funds for this wonderful organisation.
Severn Hospice are with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.
It does this for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without support. For every £1 you donate, they will spend 88p directly on care - and use the remaining 12p to make another £1. Last year, all those individual donations - large or small - added up to £8.98 million for care. Thank you - you're amazing!
