AUSTRALIAN MUSIC PUBLICIST
CHRIS MARIC
Returns to the UK Once Again To Take Part In
HEAVY METAL TRUANTS VII - Seven Deadly Spins
Riding To Raise Funds For Children’s Charities
London to Download Festival
June 12-14 - 300kms
Australian music publicist Chris Maric had such an awesome experience during his two previous 2016 Heavy Metal Truants rides in 2016 and 2017 that he is returning to the UK to take part once again!
Chris will be undertaking an epic near 300km bicycle ride from London to Castle Donington & The Download Festival between June 12 and 14 with the Heavy Metal Truants, in the name of several children's charities.
The seventh annual Heavy Metal Truants ride, officially dubbed HMT VII - Seven Deadly Spins in honour of its Iron Maiden connections, sees a global group of heavy music industry people come together to raise money for these children’s charities.
Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust & Childline
Agents, managers, promoters, other publicists, record labels, media organisations, and artists alike, plus members of the public have signed up for the gruelling challenge.
Each rider has pledged to raise the minimum £1350, approximately $2500AUD.
If you are able to spare anything at all to help Chris reach his goal, please donate via his donation page.

NOTE: To donate via PayPal, please change the currency drop down menu to GBP, Select 'Other Payment Method' and hit continue. The PP icon will then show up on the next page.
Chris will post updates along the way during the ride so you can see the pain in his body but the glory on his face.
Check out this awesome YouTube video of the 2015 event to see just what all the riders are in for!
The Journey
Day 1: London to Luton 90km
Day 2: Luton to Leicester 145km
Day 3: Leicester to Donington 55km
It won't be easy, but then nothing worthwhile ever is. There will be hills, heat, and hangovers, and Chris has been in training for months already to face the task ahead,
The Heavy Metal Truants are convinced that if there's any community out there who'll answer the call to help kids in need, it's people like you!
Across all 6 previous Heavy Metal Truant rides, the Truants have raised a massive combined total of £580 000!!
Their goal this year of course, is to reach £666 000!
Chris is honoured to once again be representing Australia on the Seventh Annual Truants Ride!
If it’s anything like the previous two rides he did, that first beer upon arrival at Download is going to taste sooo good!
Thank you for your support!
