Story
Hey guys,
I've been inspired by the lengths people are going to in the UK to raise money for the NHS. Being in lockdown in Barcelona, I've felt a little detached and powerless to contribute, until now.
I have decided, if we reach £1,000 in fundraising by Friday, to cycle the length and elevation of LEJOG, 839 miles with 16,000m elevation, at home in lockdown on my turbo trainer, aiming for 9 days starting this Friday 24th April.
Having never cycled over 70 miles in one go, this is definitely a challenge that I possibly won't complete, but knowing the good cause the funds will be going to at this unprecedented time will spur me on each day. You can follow updates on Instagram @czair_runs
On weekdays I will be getting the cycling in around my working hours, but hoping to up these at the weekends, potentially optimistic but let's see!
Any money you can donate will be gratefully received, all going to NHS Charities Together.
