Story
I am going to be running the 2020 London Marathon in memory of my mum. This year, we lost her to a grade 4 Glioblastoma. The support that the nurses provided really did help to keep our family together during my mum's final days. I want to give something back, while challenging myself. Running the marathon was always something I wanted to do, and now I can honour my mum too.
I need your help though.
Macmillan ask that I raise £2500 to enter. I will be asking (begging/pleading etc.) everyone and anyone if they wouldn't mind contributing - Everything helps. To push this further though, I will be completing various different types of fundraising;
- Open mic/Music events to help raise money
- Charity sporting events
- A sponsored playlist so you guys can pick the soundtrack of my run!
- Plus more...
As I do this, and train for this, I will upload and write blog entries to document how I'm doing as well as recognising everyone that shows support. This can be found at the link below (it will look better once I get better feel for how to 'blog'). Please feel free to subscribe to this.
Also please please PLEASE, share the word. Spread this around like wildfire. I want as many people to donate to Macmillan as possible. It really would be amazing!
