Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I signed up for this 5.5 km swim as it seemed a good idea at the time and who doesn’t like a day out in the water.  It’s further than I have ever swum before so will be a genuine challenge for me . The charity SwimTayka! teaches children and adults to swim in developing countries with special regard to prevention of drowning along with education around protecting rivers, lakes and seas from pollution. The next generation need help to become involved in their environment and what better way than to swim in it .

Videos on the work of SwimTayka can be seen on YouTube . Thank you for any donation you feel you can make . Chris
