I'm running the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon on Sunday 5th September for, what I'll hope you'll agree, is a really great charity: Meningitis UK.

Meningitis UK has a clear vision- vaccine development supported by a public awareness campaign.

Around 3,000 people are affected by all types of meningitis in the UK each year. One in ten victims will die, and one in seven of those who survive will be left with permanent disability such as loss of limbs, blindness, deafness or brain damage

Donating through JustGiving is very simple, fast and  secure. Your details are safe – they won't sell them on or send you unwanted emails! Once you donate, the money will be sent directly to Meningitis UK and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So everyone's a winner - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
