Story

Please see Christian Bell (Chris). Chris is 4 years old and loves the outdoors and running around. Chris has Autism Spectrum Disorder and over lockdown it has been difficult for Chris being inside most of the day and now we are getting to opportunity to venture out we are taking advantage and setting a target of running further. Chris is currently doing 3k and we have set a target to reach 5k together. I (Chris's dad) will be running with him and recording on Strava.

Chris loves his time outdoors and is a very active child. He's always been keen on running around whether in a field or sand dunes but little sense of danger so cannot go running on paths near roads. There will be no set path just running the maze that is Hightown sand dunes. We have not set a specific date as we will keep working on getting further until we reach our goal and the efforts can be dependant on weather.

We have chosen Autism Initiatives as they support many other children like Chris and do great work in the area.
