Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. I recently attended an event on behalf of The Co-operative Bank to launch the latest phase of an initiative to help equip kids with Aspergers Syndrome (a form of autism) with life skills. I'd never even heard of Aspergers before getting involved in this initiative, but the launch event really opened my eyes to the issues these kids and their families face and what a massive difference the National Autistic Society makes. The launch event inevitably involved a certain amount of wine, the result of which was me and two of my colleagues agreeing to run the Manchester 10k to raise money for them. It seemed like such a good idea at the time. Anyway, please donate what you can. Even the smallest amount will make a big difference - and will help keep me going on the day! Many thanks for your support. Chris
