Story
After completing a charity cycle ride last year i was looking for a new challenge for 2014 and so this year i'm cycling from the English riviera in Paignton to the French riviera in Nice over 7 day's covering nearly 800 miles in total. My route will take me upto the New forest on day one before taking the overnight ferry to France and starting my journey south which will see me take in many of the roads and mountains used in the Tour de France.I will be raising money for a Torbay based charity called THHN(Torbay holiday helpers network) they provide holidays to families who have a seriously or terminally ill child or parent or families who have recently suffered a bereavement and allows them to forget the problems and stress they may be under and focus on something positive. Please have a look at their website or facebook page.As i mentioned above my aim is to complete the ride in 7 day's leaving Paignton on sunday 18th may and arriving on the seafront in Nice on saturday 24th may. Each day i have a schedule to keep to and the distances i will be covering range from 70-150 miles a day.I will be supported along the way by friend Mark who will cycle with me and his family who will be supporting us along our route with their motorhome.
