As you know, cancer is an illness that touches the lives of almost everybody in one way or another. Whether you have suffered with it yourself, or know of someone who is suffering with it.

 

Cancer is something that has unfortunately affected both of our lives over the years. Jon lost his father, Peter, to cancer 11 years ago and more recently, Chris' Mum, Gill, tragically also lost her battle against cancer. Macmillan Local have been of such great support to both families over the years as they have been to thousands of other families who have also, tragically found themselves in a similiar situation.

 

We are both fortunate enough to have built up most items that we need or desire in our everyday lives at home and therefore decided that, for those of you that want to give us a gift on our special day, that we would rather you make a financial donation to a charity that means so much to us both.
