Cancer is like a bus.  You wait ages for it, then two come along at once.

But as people who know him well will attest, Chris does not like catching buses.

And so, taking inspiration from some of his heroes - such as Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson and Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi - he managed to tell cancer to go f*ck itself.  Twice.

That's why, on 18 September, Chris and Jen will be lacing up their boots, going up hill, down dale, and hiking a marathon (yes, 26 miles) through the Peak District.
