Story
In 2022 (rescheduled due to bloody Covid) a group of Dads, Uncles and Brothers (myself included) will be taking on a new challenge and its a big one.
For me I'm doing this in memory of our beautiful little princess Scarlett that sadly passed away in 2018 aged just 4❤.
Together, we plan to climb the 5 highest mountains in North Wales,
1. Carnedd Llewellyn (Carneddau Range): Elevation – 1064m (3rd highest in Wales)
2. Carnedd Dafydd (Carneddau Range): Elevation – 1044m (4th highest in Wales)
3. Glyder Fawr (Glyderau Range): Elevation – 1001m (5th highest in Wales)
4. Garnedd Ugain (Snowdon Massif): Elevation – 1065m (2nd highest in Wales)
5. Snowdon (Snowdon Massif): Elevation – 1085m (Highest in Wales)
then its onto the bus down south to climb the 5 highest there
1. Fan Brydeiniog (Black Mountains): Elevation – 802m
2. Fan Hir (Black Mountains): Elevation – 761m
3. Waun Rydd (Central Brecon Beacons): Elevation – 769m
4. Pen-y-Fan (Central Brecon Beacons): Elevation – 886m
5. Cribyn (Central Brecon Beacons): Elevation – 795m
lastly its time to get on our bikes and cycle 52 miles from Brecon to Cardiff along the Taff Trail.
The challenge must be completed in 55 hours. We've called this the 10nTaff.
Our aim is to raise awareness for the amazing children's hospice Ty Hafan whilst raising much needed funds.
