Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Its that time of year and once again I am attempting to drag my sorry broken down frame the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields for charity.

Some of you will know that since my brother was diagnosed with cancer some years back I have been doing the run for 6 years now in aid of cancer research. Thankfully he has now had the all clear but I am still keeping going to raise money towards a great cause.

This is a comeback run for me after badly breaking my foot and spending 6 months on crutches last year so I am not expecting a great time and I will be happy to just complete the run.

So I am aiming for a modest target of £150 and that will probably work out at around £1 for each minute of agony I will endure on Sunday 15th . . . . now thats value for money!!!

So please give generously and I'll try and wave at the cameras for you on he day. For reference Ill be the purple faced fellow sweating profously and gasping for air.

cheers

Chris
