Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Sunday 2nd October I will be running the London Marathon, fundraising in memory of my Dad, Patrick Woodward. He passed away recently after suffering a brain anuerysm. The brilliant paramedics and staff at Northwick Park Hospital fought to save him.
For those who do recover the road back again can be long and challenging. The Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a national disability charity based in Surrey. Providing help and support for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities or acquired brain injuries
My Dad would be so proud to support this charity. Helping those who make it through. He got through the War, the Sixties, three kids, COVID, diabetes, prostate cancer and my Mums cooking. Then his time ran out.
Please help me support this charity in his memory. I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022 to raise funds, say thanks and find peace. Sunday 2nd October is also my parents' wedding anniversary.
