Story
As it common with a fundraiser it is brought about in a time of sadness and often a time you are unprepared for. However, it provides us with an opportunity to say thank you to those who took care of our loved ones and provided them with time, comfort and care at a time most needed. It is also an opportunity to ensure that anyone else who requires the same level of care is afforded the opportunity to do so.
The high level of care dedicated to both my Grandma and Grandad not just within the past couple of weeks but over a lifetime is something as a family we are incredibly grateful for. The round the clock care not only for Grandma but also for Grandad whilst he remained in hospital with Grandma as he lived through some of his most difficult days has certainly been rememberable and touching.
We are incredibly grateful to the Poole Hospital NHS Charity whom exist to enhance the care and treatment of patients accessing NHS services at Poole Hospital. They seek to provide enhanced facilities, state of the art equipment and support NHS staff health, wellbeing and development.
It is because of these reasons and many others that I have decided to run the 2022 London Marathon in memory of Grandma and to ask for whatever contribution big or small you can make to this great charity.
The photo; Their favourite club, but them the most formidable team!
Thank you.
