Story
I am running in loving memory of Connor sadly lost his battle with Leukaemia. Connor was the bravest superhero, he was a true warrior and taught me more about bravery than I had learnt in my previous years. He fought his battle with a smile on his face.
I will be running the London marathon as well as various half marathons in the build up to try and help other children going through the same battle.
I will also be going booze free from January - April 23rd as I prepare for this challenge.
At Children with Cancer UK, we actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. Through our investment in research, we are taking forward our understanding of childhood cancer, to give new insights into ways of treating young patients with even the most difficult forms of cancer. We are working to drive up the survival rate still further by developing more effective curative therapies with fewer toxic side effects.
