Story

Hello,

Starting from August the 15th i will be cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End,

-I'm aiming to do the cycle between 10 and 14 days
-I will be camping/hosteling all the way
-All the equipment i need, i will carry on my bike
-I won't use any sponsor money to fund the event
-The procceeds will go to the prince's trust
-During the cycle i will keep regular updates via facebook

I will be self sufficient throughout, from beginning to end. I have arranged to stay on campsites until I reach Lands End after travelling approximately 100 miles per day. I will be carrying everything I need, and only purchasing food and drink.

I've decided to do the event mainly because i like to challenge myself while having an adventure at the same time and think this will certainly do that.

I decided to do the event for the prince's trust as i feel there is a lack of young skilled people in our country, which will ultimately lead to skills and jobs been lost further. The Prince's trust helps fund young peoples careers through courses and also rehabilitation, providing them with a foundation for them to start there own career through life.

So please if you can donate a little in these harsh times then do, maybe it'll help build a more stable country for us

many thanks

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
