On Thursday 3rd November I will be joining other Sunderland business leaders sleeping rough at the Stadium of Light.

I've witnessed recently the challenges that homeless people face and it was genuinely heartbreaking.  There are so many reasons why people live rough and no simple answer to fixing the problem.

I'm doing this to in a very small way get a brief understanding of the physical challenge that homeless people face.  At the same time I hope to raise the awareness of the issue within my home city and in doing so raising money for a chosen charity, Red Sky Foundation.
