Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer is a great local charity. They ensure that treatment for prostate cancer in Plymouth and the South West is always at the cutting edge by raising substantial sums of money to buy the most advanced medical equipment.

Prostate cancer is a very common male cancer, but men's health care is often overlooked. The Chestnut Appeal also works hard to raise awareness amongst local men about this easily treatable disease.

The Chestnut Appeal makes a substantial and life enhancing difference to men with prostate cancer in the Plymouth area.

As a local person I want to support local organisations and businesses as much as I can; so this Movember I'm choosing to support our local prostate cancer charity - I hope that you will too.

Any donation is gratefully received. If you're a tax payer don't forget to use gift aid - the Treasury will then give the tax you have paid on your donation to the Chestnut Appeal as well.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
