On the 7th July of this year I will be participating in the Nottingham Outlaw Long Distance Triathlon. To complete this I will need to do a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and then a 26.2 mile run. I have never done anything this big before and have been training a lot over the past six months. It has been extremely tiring, but I love the challenge. I completed a half Ironman last year. Inevitably this was the next step!

I would like to ask for your support in this event. Over the last few years, my family and my girlfriend's family have been affected by cancer. I have seen too many people lost to this terrible disease. So I would like to take part in this event in memory of: my Grandma, Joyce Sherwood; Kathryn's Mum, Liz McGrory and Steve's Mum, Meg Wiseman.
