I'm running the Great North Run for the Lake District Calvert Trust because I want to both challenge myself but also raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

Based near Keswick, The Lake District Calvert Trust provides outdoor activity courses for people with a wide range of both physical and mental disabilities - a life-changing experience which leaves visitors encouraged that living with a disability should be no barrier to enjoying an active lifestyle.

My brother Jonny (standing next to me in the picture) works as an instructor at the Trust and has seen first hand just how much of a positive impact the courses have on their participants.

Please give generously and help this fantastic cause!
