Going Bald For My Wonderful Wife, 10 February 2021
Swap a visit to the salon or barbers and go bald for breast cancer prevention. Shaving your head for breast cancer can be a powerful way to show solidarity and fundraise.

Story

Many of you know that just before Christmas, my wife Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. The lump has been removed but tests have shown she needs chemo to reduce the chances of a recurrence.

This is obviously a scary time but Sarah has been so brave and taken it all in her stride. Words can’t express how proud we all are of her.

She would have lost  her hair during chemo so has committed to cut it and donate it to a charity. I wanted to do something to show her my support and raise  some money for Breast Cancer U.K.

So, sometime over the next two weeks, I will forsake my barnet......all the way down to a razor shave! A video of the event will be posted. If you are able to give, we would be very grateful but understand many are going through tough times during this pandemic.

Thanks in advance for your support x
