I have been fortunate enough not to have needed the help of any particular charity directly. So I decided to support Anthony Nolan because I have seen the hard work they do at the ground level for cord collections. What they do?
• Anthony Nolan is a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood
cancer who need a blood stem cell, or bone marrow transplant.

• Every 23 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer. For many patients, a blood stem cell transplant is their only hope of survival.

• We use our register to match remarkable donors willing to donate their blood
stem cells to patients desperately in need.

• We currently have over 420,000 people on our register but we can still only find a matching donor for around half the people who come to us in need.

• To double the number of lives we save, we want to grow the register to one
million potential donors – but we need vital funds in order to do so.
