My amazing wife was diagnosed with an aggressive late stage rare gastric cancer in September 2020. Sadly, she passed away the following August after a brave and brutal treatment schedule.

She tackled this diagnosis (like everything else in her life) with tremendous positivity.

So little is known about rare cancers, and at times we felt bewildered and lost at the lack of information available, compared to much more common cancers - Cancer52 looks to address this, improving diagnoses and striving for better patient outcomes.

On 16th October, I will be completing the 5K fun run with our nine year old son, to raise vital funds for this charity. All donations are greatly appreciated.
