Story
Well, In Jan 2012 I started running again (I don't recommend starting in a German winter - my chin froze one evening, not to mention other parts of my body!!) and surprised myself by keeping it going for more than a few weeks.
I started out with the intention of running a few 10k races but when asked by a friend if I would consdier running for ABF The Soldiers' Charity I couldn't resist. Ok, so a Marathon (26.2 miles) was not really the distance I wanted to run but the challenge tempted me, plus I thought it would help me stay motivated with training. I have since learned that Berlin is one of the fastest Marathons out there - so if you're going to do one it might as well be Berlin!
Working alongside the army on a daily basis I am well aware of the sacrifices that are made and the support required. I know the money will be put to good use, so please do give what you can, no matter how small. In return I hope to turn in an olympic effort! Cmon!
