LOROS HOSPICE CHARITY PERU INCA TRAIL CHALLENGE 5 AUGUST 2017
Kathryn Payne is raising money for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice

Back in 2003 Kath's father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and spent the last days of his life in LOROS. Kath and her sister were able to stay overnight and so were with him during his final hours. For Kath and I, it was our first experience of visiting a hospice and we were both struck by the kindness and dedication of the staff, as well as the peaceful surroundings.
We are both keen walkers, particularly more so now that Chris has retired. Joining the Trek has provided us with an opportunity to raise money and give something back to such a worthwhile cause.
