Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page,

I have decided to take on the challenge of The Great North Run again.

This time to raise money for Brain Tumour Research and Loubobs Legacy.

As some of you will know a good friend of mine, lost his dear nephew Louis, to a brain tumour last year.

Louis's mum Aylee and husband Gav have thrown themselves into setting up "loubob's legacy" to raise as much money and awareness for brain tumour research as they possibly can, and so far have raised an unbelievable amount of money.

The fact that they have had the drive to do this, and the effort they are putting in is truly inspiring, while having to deal with the loss of their beloved Loubob, who i never had the pleasure of meeting, but who touched the hearts of many.

Louis was a real fighter, having to overcome so much in his short life, and did it with a smile on his face.

I really want to help Aylee and Gav and the rest of the "lou crew" raise as much money as i possibly can.

I realise times are hard and i know i was asking for money last year for MS but if you can possibly spare some money i would be very greatful and it will spur me on as i start the gruelling training process again.

Thanks in advance,

Chris
