Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you have been affected by cancer then please support me. Have you had cancer or know someone who has, then you will understand the support that is so important. Have you been bereaved like me, then you will also understand the hand reaching out to you when you are in the worst place you could be in, is a lifeline for you to cling too.
I want to raise £1.000 to help our charity to continue supporting people in Warrington. I am doing a Sponsored Wheelchair & Electric Scooter Ride on Sunday 31st May 2015 from Warrington Hospital past Whiston Hospital, Broadgreen, Liverpool Royal Hospital finishing at Liverpool Women's Hospital. The hospitals are where our members go for tests, treatments etc, is .approx 20 miles This is quite a distance, there will be a small support team travelling with me. The estimated time to do this is approx 8 hours to do this trip..
I have lost a lot of my close family members to cancer in the last 14 years which inspired me to support local people who had also been affected by cancer. Our charity The John Holt Cancer Support Foundation has supported so many people and we need to carry on with this very valuable work. The charity is a voluntary charity with no funding - we have to fundraise or receive small grants. Our services are Free to all patients, relatives, carers, bereaved & friends. We are Holistic in our work. Part of our mission is to support and bring a bit of normality back into peoples lives, be there when they need us and help people to take a small break from their cancer journey.
If you can help us and make a donation, do a fundraiser on our behalf or ask you family, friends and work mates to also support my page that would be great or you can pop into our Cancer Support Centre.
If you own or work in a business and would also like to sponsor me it would be wonderful, then get in touch with me tel 01925 242880

Every penny you donate will go into the work of the charity.
