Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself & Adam Sullivan are doing a a Charity Bike Ride from Southampton to Scotland the climbing Ben Nevis.

All in aid of James Wish To Walk ( James Mills )

My good friend's  son James was born 31st May 2012, 8 weeks early by emergency C-Section. James was immediately resuscitated and incubated then taken straight to the Neonatal Unit where he spend the first 5 weeks of his life. Everyday James became stronger and stronger and within 48 hours James was able to breathe for himself with a little help.

James now has Cerebral Palsy, Mild brain damage and Spastic Diplegia. 22 months down the line James is a happy and healthy child. He never lets anything get in the way of his happiness.

James now has a standing/ walking frame which he is struggling with due to the high tone in his lower limbs. We know he will need Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) in the near future which will enableJames  to walk. Unfortunately this treatment is no longer available on the NHS. James is most likely going to have to travel to America for this much needed treatment. Ultimately this treatment will help James walk.

We need to raise about £50,000 for all the treatment he requires.
