Story

Thank you for taking the time to look at my just giving page.

My names Chris Gardner and I'm type 1 Diabetic, and  I  no longer have awareness of high and low blood sugar levels. I am lucky enough to be helped by the amazing charity Medical Detection Dogs with Jade my Diabetic Alert Assistance Dog who is pictured above.

She is my life, world, companion and soul mate. And I couldn't imagine life without her. She is just amazing. Words cannot describe how much she has helped me in the past 4 months she has been with me. In this time she has alerted me 634 times. This being to both high and low blood sugar levels. Saving ambulance call outs fees, hospital admissions and the NHS  a huge care bill. As well are transforming my life.

I am trying to raise as much money for Medical Detection Dogs so they can keep helping people like me. Money raised will go towards training another specially trained Medical Assistance Dogs to help save life's. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated.

The cost of training each dog is £11,200.00. The training cost per dog includes: veterinary costs to include micro chipping and general health care, dog insurance £310 per year, full public access test £300 and partnership training £5,000.

Any vital funds we can all raise to help this amazing charity will be much appreciated and will help go towards training these amazing life saving dogs.

No donation is to small. Thank you.
