Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who dont know, I am running on behalf of the RNIB, in memory of my grandmother who became blind overnight in her old age. I am aiming to raise as much money as possible for this great charity and I am taking the event very seriously. I had set myself a difficult time of sub 3:45. For those of you who know me this will be a really challenging time as I do not exactly have the 'runners build'. Training was on track having completed my first official race, the Ferriby 10 mile 31/01/10, which I completed in 1:18:59.

Unfortunately the week after the race I injured my foot and was unable to train for 3-4 weeks. So training was severley interrupted and I have re-adjusted my time to sub 4 hours. I recently completed a 20 mile race, in 2:54:22. If I can replicate the time, or improve and have better conditions on official race day, I hope to get round in under 4 hours.

I really do need your support so thank you in advance for donating all that you can afford.
