I've been boring my family for many years saying that I would run a half marathon but never doing it and as I approach my 60th birthday I feel that it is now or never!

I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as they do such good work. They helped my dad before he died 5 years ago and recently my sister Judy who died at the age of 60 at the beginning of January this year. I am so lucky that I have good health and I'm able to run and raise money for such a deserving charity.
