Story
Hi All
Those of you who know me rather well will probably know I am very much into my contact sports having trained for over 20 years in Karate. I am also genuinely quite mad! But I am not one to generally embark on this said activity type.
At the beginning of the year I told myself that I needed to set myself a goal. So the goal I set was to get fit and lose weight, I did not however decide on how to achieve this challenge until recently. I did quite a bit of research on things I could do but one activity stood out amongst others. One that interests me and serves a great cause!
So not long ago I signed up to take part in London’s number 1 Ultra White Collar Boxing Event called The Big Fight UK. The Big Fight UK is a fight brand hosting amateur and professional boxing, kickboxing and MMA bouts for charity. Their popular ‘white collar’ series sees participants complete 10 weeks of training with a professional coach and compete in an amateur bout against an equally matched opponent.
The Big Fight UK is partnered with The Prostate Cancer Research Centre and all funds raised go directly to them.
I have elected to take part in the 10th Series of the big fight UK which starts in August where 10 weeks hard training begins. At the end of the training I will compete in a boxing match against an opponent in 3x2 minute rounds. The fight takes place on October 4th 2018 in Clapham.
I want to raise as much funds as I possibly can for this great cause! For any of you who know or know of people who have gone through this condition or any form of cancer know how important these charities are!
You can help me raise money for this great cause by donating directly to this page!
Your support is most appreciated
