Given that I am going to have to carry everything I need (except water) in my backpack for the whole race, I thought this a good time to raise some money for charity.

Having had some major eye surgery in 2013 and consulted with many international surgeons, I ended up at Moorfield which was one of the few places who were prepared to operate.  It really is a leading specialist eye hospital with world leading research and hopefully these funds can keep this research going a little longer.
