This Year Karen and I are going to complete the Great North Run...13.1 miles of running from Newcastle to South Sheilds and thought it would be a good opertunity to raise some much needed extra cash for a great charity.

Our Chosen Charity is (CHUF)  Childrens Heart Unit Fund that operates from Ward 23 in the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

CHUF aim to raise money to buy equipment, facilities, aftercare and research at the Heart Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Freeman.

These people really do perform miracles for families who have children with heart problems and really do need all the extra help we can give.
