Story
In an effort to raise awareness and sponsorship to help
fight homelessness and poverty in London, I will again be taking part in the annual CEO Sleepout.
Whilst exchanging my warm bed for the concrete floor will not be a comfortable experience, it is nothing compared to what many of the homeless people around the UK face every single night. The weather aside, they also face issues of sanitation, safety and security, which combined, make this is terrible way to live. To think there are so many people living on the streets or on the brink of homelessness makes me feel truly thankful I have a home and a bed to go to.
On Monday, 29 October, I will be joining other CEOs and senior executives from a range of industries for the Sleepout event, which has raised an impressive £1.95 million to help tackle homelessness since its inception in 2010.
Please help me to support this worthy cause by contributing a little (or a lot :)) to my JustGiving account.
Money raised by CEO sleepouts is distributed to both local and national charities to provide much needed support for the homeless and those on the poverty line.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
