The St. George’s Hospital children's intensive care unit in Tooting, South London, is a five to eight bed
intensive care unit, providing care for children requiring intensive care. The unit also provides high
dependency care for local children and children requiring specialist treatment from across the south of
England.
This unit provided excellent care for Zach, Dave Hall’s son and I know it would mean a lot to him and his family to support this
amazing centre. It costs up to £1,200 per baby per day so any support we can offer will be put to great use.
Not just education, not only entertainment
Fallen Leaves is positive action
Fallen Leaves UK is a charity set up to raise funds to support the work of Fallen Leaves Community Theatre, a community-based
performing arts collective operating in Malaysia. It works with a variety of different members including recovering drug users, young
offenders, orphans, homeless people and people living with HIV/AIDS. Its aim is to reduce social exclusion in Malaysia through
performing arts, in particular forum theatre.
One of its founding members and Chair of Trustees is Richard ‘Snowy’ Julian of Guildford Hockey Club. Please feel free to ask him
for more information!
Les Amis is a Godalming-based charity which has been set up to serve the poor and needy of Burkina Faso. The aims of Les Amis are
to provide help and relief for some of the poorest people in the world.
One of the more pressing aims of Les Amis is to support women. The lives of women in Africa can be extremely difficult, but
particularly so for those who have given birth to a disabled child or who are, themselves, disabled. It also aims to keep girls in
education and protect young women by providing them with a refuge to which they can turn when they have been forced to flee
from an early arranged marriage.
