Acer UK Outer Hebrides Tech Journalist Cull, 19 June 2014
We are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to provide mountain search and rescue.

Story

So, June 19-22 I'll be trekking, cycling and kayaking my way across the Outer Hebrides, with a bunch of other tech journos. If you've seen 'Alive', it'll be like that but with geeks instead of rugby players.

If you've got a bit of spare cash, it'd be very awesome of you - it's all for Mountain Rescue - and in return, if you donate a tenner or more, I will name a character after you in my new Kindle serial, to begin later in 2014. Donate £20 or more and I'll even kill you off in a horrifically squidgey manner (if you like).

Can't promise you everlasting fame, but hopefully you and your chums will get a kick out of reading your namesake's untimely gruesome demise.

Cheers!
