In July of last year I lost my best friend and wife to cancer. Katie and I were lucky enough to spend 7 years together but only 22 days as a married couple.  I feel lucky to have been able to call her my wife, I just wish it could have been for a bit longer. I know 1st hand the great work Macmillan do I, like many, I would like to rid the world of this awful illness. But until then, we also need to provide people with support through the toughest fight some have to face. I could not imagine having to battle cancer alone, and this is the reason I choose Macmillan as my charity.
