I am grateful to be given the opportunity to join a team of colleagues to take part in what will be an epic adventure. Over two days, we will be trekking around 50km and visiting 24 peaks in the Lake District including Scafell Pike. 

There is a very important reason for doing this, we are raising funds and awareness for Crisis. A home is a fundamental human need. It’s about more than just a roof over your head -  having a home allows us to put down roots in a community. It’s the stable foundation we all need to build our lives. Lloyds Banking Group are joining forces with Crisis and the Simon Community to end homelessness for good. Every penny raised will help more secure the support they need to find a safe and secure place to call home.

Whilst I've had a few health issues the past couple of years (and I want to do this challenge in part to give myself a goal), I've always had that security of a home. Please help support this much needed charity.
