Story
Chocolate is my passion and I’m lucky enough to call it my job too. I’ve been the owner of a Chocolate Shop in Lincolnshire since 1986. ‘The Chocolate House’ is now found on Market Place in Folkingham.
I always strive to make my latest creation look even better than the last one, it gives me that creative buzz. I’m always ready to test my chocolate making ability.
When I heard on BBC Radio Lincolnshire that the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance has seen its income affected by Covid, I wondered how I could support this life saving local charity with my chocolate making skills. We all see the iconic helicopter in our skies from time to time and are thankful the crew of LNAA are there for us. And so, the idea of the Giant Choco-copter was born!!
The Choco-copter is built on the shell of a 7ft Easter Egg and weighs an amazing 120kg. We would love you to pop by, have a look and make a donation to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. We are open every Friday and Saturday from 10am – 5pm and I love to share my passion with fellow chocolate lovers. The Choco-copter is currently on display in the conservatory behind the shop, allowing visitors to see the creation from a safe distance.
I hope you love the idea of a Choco-copter as much as I do and will donate to support the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance this Easter. They receive no direct government funding and rely on donations to carry out their lifesaving work.
Happy Easter.
