Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
2012: another year full of challenges!!
First of all, I have run the tough Berkhamsted Half Marathon on 4th of March with my colleague and friend Louisa (in 2 hours 10, under raining conditions turning into snow at the end!) and if that's not enough, I beat my time on 1st April with another fellow volunteer Lee in the Reading Half Marathon (2:04)
Secondly, Simon and I are getting married in the summer and would appreciate it if you would like to give some money to this very worthwhile charity instead of a present for us. We are so lucky to have so much and Children of Choba is a charity close to our heart.
Children of Choba is a British charity that helps the many bright and beautiful youngsters in Choba, Tanzania and the surrounding villages have a better start in life. As you know, I have helped build the first classroom of the Primary School in August 2009 and returned to teach the lovely pupils in August 2011 with a team of teachers from my school (It is unfortunately impossible to upload pictures on justgiving at the moment, otherwise I would show you a few pictures of the excited children learning French!) Please visit: http://ucsinchoba.blogspot.co.uk for some pictures!
Your contribution will help finish constructing and run Choba English Medium Primary and Nursery School, as well as help towards building teachers' accommodation, guaranteeing retention of excellent teachers and providing a link with the community.
I thank you in advance for your contribution on behalf of the Children of Choba. Please visit: www.childrenofchoba.org.uk for more information on how to help this charity.
Lots of love
Estelle xx
