Story
One Marine, One Mission, One Thousand Two Hundred Miles.
This June, Apogee is teaming up with ‘Rowing Marine’ Lee Spencer to break world records.
I personally with be taking part in the 26 mile Ben Nevis walk and Tom will cycling 2 legs (circa 100 miles each) along with the 26 mile Ben Nevis walk to support Lee.
The full back-to-back and never attempted before Triathlon of GB includes three iconic endurance challenges across the UK
Swimming the English Channel (21 miles – Lee to do this solely)
Cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats (874 miles, split into 9 days)
Summit the National Three Peaks: Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis (26 miles 385 yards)
A big thank you to everyone from Team Apogee who has signed up to take part in the land-based events in our bid to help Lee smash another world record, whilst raising money for The Royal Marines.
