Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am so excited to be a part of the 2019 London Marathon as it is something I have always wanted to be a part of and has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I am so pleased that I am going to be running for St John's, the nation’s leading first aid charity.
When I was a young teen I spent 3 years being a St Johns Ambulance Cadet and I loved being a part of their community. They help more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through their training programmes and I am hounoured to help them raise money and awareness to their cause this year.
As a cadet our team volunteered at so many events (including the London Marathon) to give charitable first aid when needed and if it wasn't for the work of this charity many events would go without essential on site first aid.
A part of St Johns mission is to provide basic first aid training to as many people as possible and I am so passionate about this as you never know when an accident might happen and knowing the basic skills may help save someones life.
I have run a few small events before, however nothing this long! So this is definitely going to be a personal challenge for me but I am so excited :)
