Story

So after saying to myself I would never run another half marathon again.... here I am! and although I already have 1 half marathon under my belt, it definitely doesn't make it any less daunting than last year! Ahhhh

Last year's run was probably the most mentally and physically challenging event I have ever participated in! For someone who had never run further than 5k, the training was hard and I honestly thought I would not be able to do it.

When the opportunity came up to run for Leonard Cheshire again this year, how could I say no? So the trainers came back out and the training began... I am determined to beat last years' time of 2hours 27minutes.

This amazing charity supports individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability.

Led by people with experience of disability, they are at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support in communities around the globe.

Leading by example, they do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives a freely and as fully as they choose.

Any donation however great or small makes a huge difference to this charity!

Thank you and WISH ME LUCK!!
