Abseiling for Arthur · 26 March 2023

Take on an epic challenge and abseil down the 11 story Lister Hospital tower block! Test your nerves and face your fears in this thrilling experience in aid of your local hospitals' charity!

Story

This March I will be joining Super Mum, Joey Fox, and friends Helen Bridges and Ali Freeman, in a mad challenge to abseil down an 11 storey hospital tower block, to raise money for baby Arthur Fox.

Arthur has a very rare metabolic condition, OTC, which means he spends A LOT of time on the Children’s Bluebell Ward at Lister Hospital, Stevenage.

Arthur’s wonderful parents are keen to raise funds for the department to buy new equipment and to make the environment more welcoming for children and their parents who stay during treatment. It’s also super important to improve the facilities and working environment for all of the amazing staff.

None of us has ever abseiled before and we aren't fond of heights, but we will be sporting helmets and harnesses to raise some much needed money to give Lister Hospital, its staff, patients and visitors a brighter future 💙

Thank you to all who donate xx
