So, if you know me well, you’ll know I’m not so keen  on (hate) running. HOWEVER, I’ve decided I’m going to tackle the Great North Run, HALF A MARATHON, this September for Derian House. It’s going to challenge me a hell of a lot both physically and mentally. But I thought if I tell people my crazy idea, I can’t back out once people know🤣🙈

I am tackling the Great North Run for Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley, in memory of Millie🦋. A very special, gorgeous, brave, and incredibly strong little girl, who sadly passed away January 2019, age 5. Millie spent time at Derian House and the care and support which staff gave to both Millie and her family was amazing.

Derian provide care and respite for children with life limiting or life shortening conditions. To provide their services to the children and families of the NW of England it costs them over £4.8 million. Derian rely on donations to be able to provide the outstanding care they do.

I work in ventilation care myself and I know first hand the incredible work they do at Derian to support so many children and their families, make the best memories and also help through some of the hardest times they’ll have to face.

I know times are tough at the moment for everyone - especially after the past year!! BUT, please if you could spare any amount at all, no matter how small, PLEASE DONATE. It really will make an incredible difference to the lives of so many children from the North West - now more than ever!!
